About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Florist to join our dedicated team at Victorias for Flowers' in Prospect Vale, Tasmania. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Designing and crafting a wide range of floral arrangements, bouquets, and centrepieces to meet customer orders and seasonal trends

2. Sourcing and maintaining a diverse selection of high-quality fresh flowers, plants, and other botanical materials

3. Providing exceptional customer service, offering advice and guidance to help customers choose the perfect floral products

4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring the shop floor and workspace are well-presented

5. Assisting with inventory management and restocking activities as required

6. Collaborating with the team to continuously improve our product range and service offerings

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Florist or in a similar creative, hands-on role within the floral industry

2. A keen eye for design, colour, and composition, with the ability to create visually stunning floral arrangements

3. Strong customer service skills, with a passion for providing an exceptional experience to every customer

4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

5. A team-oriented approach and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the business

6. Qualifications in Floristry or a related field would be highly regarded
