Bearing Service - Permanent Afternoon Shift (Wharf)

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Bearing Service Technician to join our team on a permanent afternoon shift based at the wharf.

About the Role

This hands-on position involves servicing roll trailer bogies, including dismantling components, inspecting bearings, and carrying out repairs to ensure equipment remains safe and operational.

Key Duties

• Pulling apart bogies from roll trailers

• Removing wheels and inspecting bearings and casings for wear or damage

• Replacing worn tyres

• Identifying and repairing structural cracks in bogies

• Reassembling components and maintaining safety standards

About You

• Mechanical aptitude or maintenance experience preferred

• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work

• Strong attention to detail and safety focus

• Ability to work independently and within a team
