The ROLE

• Plan, manage, and oversee daily transport operations in Southern Tasmania to ensure timely and efficient delivery of all internal and external customer requirements.
• Delivering accurate operational reporting and driving continuous improvement across cost, service and asset performance.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant Transport, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• A focus on preventative maintenance outcomes and strong asset management.
• Management of NHVL associated permits including OSOM and PBS transport moves across Tasmania.
• Identification and development of key personnel in line with future business requirements.

About YOU 

• Current Driver's Licence.
• Proven experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar role.  
• Sound knowledge and experience with CoR, NHVL, load restraint, fatigue management and mass management practices.
• Well developed people leadership skills with a passion for developing and engaging people.
• Experience with Heavy Haulage, Tipper and Cement Tanker Operations (desirable, not essential).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of commercial & financial drivers that deliver strong results for the Hazell Bros Group.
