STATUS:                Part Time (22.5 hours per week)

LOCATION:      Hobart Pathology, Battery Point

About The Role:

This is a part-time position with responsibility for delivering recruitment campaigns that attract, screen and secure the best people. This role partners closely with hiring managers and the HR Manager to ensure high-quality appointments, strong candidate experiences, and compliance with relevant policies and legislation.

  • Deliver end‑to‑end recruitment across a diverse range of healthcare professional roles, including advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer management and onboarding

  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, recruitment timelines and approaches, assessments, best practice sourcing techniques etc.

  • Create strong employer branding and candidate engagement activities whilst providing administrative support for the onboarding process

  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers and other stakeholders

  • Work within established recruitment systems and processes, and participate in recruitment/HRIS projects

  • Provide support for the broader Human Resources function as required

  • This is a part time role working onsite 4.5hours per day in Hobart.

About You :          

  1. Experience in a recruitment or HR generalist role where you have demonstrated an ability to screen, secure and retain quality candidates is desirable but not essential

  2. Strong organisational and time management skills

  3. High level of administrative capability, with excellent attention to detail

  4. Confident and effective communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships, providing for a positive hiring manager and candidate experience.

  5. Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering to tight deadlines

  6. Ability to demonstrate initiative with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

  7. Must have the ability to permanently live and work in Australia at the time of application.
