Panko Chan is a Japanese inspired restaurant in Kingston Beach. We are not only provide tranditional Japanese flavours but also some fusion cusine twisted Japanese flavours and Australian style.

About the role

Experienced kitchen staff wanted.

To be successful in this role, applicants must strive to:

• Setting up workstations and operating kitchen equipment

• Measuring and weighing ingredients

• Following recipes and set menus

• Baking, grilling, steaming or boiling fish, meat, vegetables and other foods

• Presenting and garnishing dishes

• Adhering to kitchen hygiene and safety standards

• Maintaining a clean workspace at all times

• Monitoring stock levels

• Keeping up with cooking techniques and methods

Applicants must:

• Knife skills and knowledge of cutting techniques • Knowledge of various cooking methods • Ability to work under pressure • Awareness of food safety and hygiene standards • Ability to multitask • Excellent communication skills • Great team worker

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,084.80 per year
