This is an exciting Hobart-based opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team in the School of Nursing, part of the Health portfolio. Located in Tasmania’s vibrant capital, this role offers the chance to live and work in a region known for its outstanding natural environment, strong sense of community and growing health and education sector.
The School of Nursing works in close partnership with Tasmanian and national healthcare partners to improve the health of Tasmanians and to educate a new generation of nurses with capability in leadership and future-focused healthcare. We build our future workforce through innovative learning experiences using sophisticated digital and face-to-face delivery across our undergraduate and postgraduate courses. We foster a dynamic, highly engaged work environment with interdisciplinary opportunities for teaching and research across the University and with our health service partners. The School of Nursing sits within the Health portfolio, which has a focus on boosting health and medical research performance and evidence-based learning and teaching to educate a new generation of agile health professionals and researchers.
With a strong background in nursing education, this position will contribute to student success through the educational preparation of pre-registration students. The role also involves health service research and/or innovation in learning and teaching that can improve the health of Tasmanians. You will assist in developing a positive culture that enables high levels of collaboration and productivity, supporting the University’s vision to deliver place-based education with high impact for Tasmania.
What you’ll doAppointment to this role will be at Academic Level B and will have a total remuneration package of up to $155,885 comprising base salary within the range of $114,766 to $133,235 plus 17% superannuation.
