About the role

Are you a seasoned trade assistant looking to join a dynamic and growing team? We're seeking an enthusiastic Trade Assistant Electrical to join our team at I Want Energy in Moonah, TAS. This is a casual role, offering flexible work arrangements to accommodate your needs.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting qualified our inhouse teams with rooftop solar installations

  • Setting up ladders and access equipment

  • Preparing work sites by clearing obstacles and cleaning up workspace

  • Transporting materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites

  • Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a trade assistant

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely

  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks

  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills

  • Comfortable working at heights
