About Us:
Glenview Community Services are a leading Tasmanian aged care provider based in Hobart’s northern suburbs. We are part of our community and provide a diverse suite of services, from tailored home care to our state-of-the-art purpose-built dementia care village.
We are looking for exceptional support staff to provide in-home support and services, who can embrace diversity and thrive when supporting people to live their best lives. We support a wide range of community-based clients across Southern Tasmania.
Essential criteria for this role include:
Ability to deliver personal support within a community setting which reflects person centered care practice with a strong emphasis on consultation, choice, and accountability to consumer/participant.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certificate III in Community Services.
Satisfactory National Police Check valid within 12 months.
Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration with NDIS Endorsement.
Eligibility to work in Australia.
Must have own road worthy vehicle and full unrestricted Australian Driver license (NOT Provisional), with comprehensive car insurance.
A current First Aid certification (or the ability to acquire one).
HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication (desirable, but not required).
Permanent part time or casual work is available for the right candidate. Candidates require reasonable availability on weekdays between 7am – 4pm, and a willingness to commute between clients in the community.
