The Role:
Wolf Street Accountant is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our Senior Accountants in delivering essential accounting services. This position offers exposure to diverse finance functions and business entities, and you will play a key role in supporting monthly and annual financial processes, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly and year-end reporting, including the preparation and posting of journals.
Perform monthly reconciliations for general ledger accounts.
Help prepare BAS, FBT, superannuation, work cover, and payroll tax returns.
Support the production of monthly management reports.
Contribute to taxation, compliance, and audit activities for various business entities.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Familiarity with GST, FBT, and PAYG financial compliance.
Experience with finance systems like Mantis Property, Smokeball Xero, QuickBooks, and Xero Tax.
Key Skills:

Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience required for this Assistant Accountant position.

Experience with multiple finance systems including Mantis Property, Smokeball Xero, QuickBooks, and Xero Tax is required.

Strong communication and analytical abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
